Hoi An to Da Nang – visiting the Marble Mountain in Da Nang (18 Km)
Situated between Danang and Hoi An, and close to Non Nuoc Beach, the Marble Mountains as named by King Minh Mang in the early 19th century, include five mountains which were named in accordance with the 5 respective natural elements: metal, wood, water, fire and earth.
From Hoi An you can reach there in about 30 minutes. The price of the entrance to the Marble Mountains is 15,000 VND, this gives you access to the Thuy Son mountain (the mountain of water)
Entrance to the Am Phu cave is 15,000 VND, with an additioanl 30.000 vnd for a return ride on the elevator.
The rest of the Marble Mountains can be accessed for free.
Danang-Marble Mountains are open daily from 7.00 am to 5 .00 pm.
Hoi An to Da Nang – visiting Danang Museum of Cham Sculpture (27km)
Built in 1915 with the financial support of the French Far-East Research Institute in Vietnam, the museum houses a collection of approximately 300 sculptures and artifacts collected from Cham temples and towers throughout central Vietnam.
It takes about 45 minutes to get there. Entrance to the museum is 60,000 VND, with free guides available for groups of five or more. The museum is open every day from 07.00am to 17.30pm .
